The Beaujolais Run ® returns to its spiritual home at Goodwood Motor Circuit

Goodwood Motor Circuit woke to the sound of exhausts and drone motors. By Lord March's kind permission the 'Run returned to it's spiritual home after a seven year absence. Having had an association with Aston Martin for ten years the DB11 was dispatched to the grid as it was already in the area at 'Run supporters Harwoods of Chichester. Harwoods was the original venue for the 'Runs re-launch night some ten years ago Thanks to their patronage, the 'Run spent its early years having launch night in their showroom, opening with a canapé and champagne evening amongst the cars. For the 'Runs return to Goodwood Motor Circuit it was important that old friends were present.

Sponsors Rose and White and Trademark Tribe revelled in the occasion, their special talents- 'Run formal wear and protecting the 'Run from emulation. Resplendent in John Partridge and Co team wear the competitors readied themselves for the first leg of their journey. All three Passavant & Lee briefcases were loaded aboard their vehicles, ready to bring back the fruits of French harvests from their makers.

Tiff Needell, fresh from the 'Run launch took up the mantle of starter and having waved the Union Jack leapt into the DB11 to lead Anthony Reid and the 'Run Teams on their way to France.
