This was really a day of two halves. The morning lived and breathed tarmac, rubber and adrenalin. The support of Damon Hill not only added to the legendary motorsport history of Goodwood, but gave a real focal point to the Down's Syndrome Association charity being supported by the event. Together with a brave young boy called Andy, Damon took a yellow Lamborghini around the circuit, fullfilling one of Andy's dreams.
The afternoon saw a picturesque drive through Southern England and Northern France. And not without incident as 2 competitors fell foul of the French police. Graham and Chris in the Hotels.tv Mini Cooper S held off a galant challenge from an Aston Martin and Ferrari to reach the home of Veuve Clicquot in Reims ahead of the field.
