Follow the Teams' Progress live online with Vodafone Track a SIM

Vodafone will be enabling real time tracking of the 45 teams, en route, via its software platform Track a SIM. If you would like to track their progress for yourself, follow the instructions below - and watch the teams go!

How to Follow The Beaujolais Run ® 2008

First download the Vodafone Track a SIM software to your PC - making sure your system meets the minimum requirements below.

Step One

email christine.horsefield@trackaphone.com and provide us with:

  • your first name and surname
  • a daytime contact telephone number we can reach you on

Step Two

We will email your username and password within 24 hours.

Step Three

Download the Vodafone Track a SIM software platform by visiting https://trackaphone.co.uk/t2/vf/install.jsp

Enter your username, account number and password and click 'Login'.

Step Four

You will then be guided through the Vodafone Track a SIM software platform installation. Should you have any problems you can find troubleshooting FAQs at https://trackaphone.co.uk/t2/vf/install.jsp

System Requirements and IP Details

Logging on From Home

  • Windows XP operating system (or other OS supporting JRE 5.0)
  • Sun's Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 10
  • 2GHz processor or faster recommended
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 60 megabytes (minimum) of free hard disk space.

Logging on From Work

We recommend the following outbound IP addresses and ports:

How to Locate a Team and Their Progress

  1. Open the Track a SIM platform
  2. In the 'Mobiles' window on the left hand side of the screen, highlight the team's mobile number you wish to locate.
  3. Right click on the team's mobile you have highlighted.
  4. Select 'Locate Mobile'
  5. The team's mobile location will then appear on the map.
  6. In the 'Recent Activities' box at the bottom of the screen, location details are provided for the team's mobile you have highlighted.

To Locate All Teams Participating in The Beaujolais Run ® 2008

Type in the following link into your web browser http://trackaphone.co.uk/callback/publish/beaujolais/index.html and click 'Enter'. You will then be able to view the location of all teams participating in The Beaujolais Run ® 2008.
